What is DevFest?
DevFest is a global tech festival by Google Developer Groups: a community-run day of talks, codelabs and networking celebrating open source. The Gandhinagar edition is hosted jointly by GDG Gandhinagar and GDG Cloud Gandhinagar, and 2026 marks our eighth departure.
When and where is it happening?
Sunday, November 1, 2026 in Gandhinagar, gates open 8:00 AM. The venue is being finalized and will be announced right here first: express interest and you will hear the whistle before anyone else.
How do I get a ticket?
Ticket sales have not opened yet. Hit any Express interest button to get in the queue: fares and tiers drop with the ticket launch on KonfHub, and interested folks are the first to know.
Can I speak at DevFest?
Yes! The call for speakers opens soon across both platforms: the General track and the Cloud track. First-time speakers are actively encouraged; if you have shipped something interesting, we want to hear about it.
What are the two platforms?
Platform 01 is the General track: AI & ML, Web, Mobile, Flutter, Firebase and open source, running all day. Platform 02 is the Cloud track, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, serverless and platform engineering, driven by GDG Cloud Gandhinagar.
Do I need to be an expert to attend?
Not at all. DevFest is for students, first-timers and senior engineers alike: every fare includes full access to both tracks, lunch, hi-tea, goodies and a certificate. Come curious, leave connected.
